Fractures
I just recently learned about Picasa for the Mac. I was excited to begin experimenting with the “collage” feature I had heard so much about. When I started using it, my imagination went into high gear! I became fascinated with the idea of “fracturing” my face paintings and creating abstract faces with the various shapes. Picasa allows me to move, layer and overlap the “pieces” as well as increase and decrease the size of each shape. The possibilities are endless! Each composition becomes a new and interesting “self portrait”, colorful and chaotic in its design.
